- Go to control panel, system, device manager, and look at ports. Take note of what COM port and
- IRQ addresses are used for your modem. PnP has a habit of using wacky IO and IRQ ports which work
- just peachy in Windows, but DOS programs expect the same old IO and IRQ ports.

- If you can't change the settings there in device manager, you need the old Intel ICU utility
- which allows you to override PnP defaults and put it where you want it.
